Dunbrody Refits At New Ross

Photographs © John H. Luxton 2006

Replica emigrant ship DUNBRODY is seen undergoing refit work at her berth at New Ross, County Wexford on June 01, 2006. The masts, spars and rigging had been removed and placed in the car-park. Work appeared to be getting underway (right) to re-rig the ship.

Information on the ship's web site had suggested that she would have commenced her 2006 sailing programme by May 30 with a cruise to Dublin for the Dockland's Festival - however, work was clearly behind schedule!

She is also due to operate sailings to and From Milford Haven and day trips from Milford Haven and Waterford during June and July.
