Mona's Queen In Exile - On board Mary The Queen at Manila

Photographs © Ian Collard 2006

Whilst a few external photographs of the former Isle of Man Steam Packet Company's MONA's QUEEN have appeared on this web site and in the maritime press, to-date, on board views appear to have been non existent. Irish Sea Shipping the Online Shipping Magazine is please to present this fine collection of photographs taken by regular contributor Ian Collard in mid January 2006.

Whilst they reveal passenger accommodation of a somewhat spartan nature compared to what us Europeans would be used to, she does appear to be extremely well maintained. The main structural changes involve the canopies on the ramp and boat deck and the permanent stairways on the side of the ship. The ship has been operated by MBRS Lines since she was sold in December 1995.
