Manx Viking Decays in Montreal

Photographs © David Fairclough 2005

NINDAWAYMA the former MANX VIKING gently decaying berthed at Quai De Conveyers in central Montreal, One shot shows her at the bottom of Rue de St Suplice. She is rusting to show her Manx Line heritage! Despite the Equasis entry which claims her to be "In Service" she has been slowly rotting away for several years. Originally built for Aznar Line as the MONTE CASTILLO she was introduced on the Heysham - Douglas service by Manxline. She holds the distinction of being the ship which brought the ro/ro age to the Isle of Man.
