With a less than reliable DIAMANT maintaining the Liverpool - Dublin service SUPERSEACAT TWO eventually arrived and berthed at West Langton where she was prepared for service after a lengthy lay-up at Portsmouth. On the March 23, 2004 she undertook berthing trails at Princes Landing Stage.
2003 was the final year in which the "Cat" logo appeared on the bow. The ginger cat was reputed to be a likeness of one of Jim Sherwood's two cats - "Bagpuss"

In 2004 SSC2 returned to Liverpool - Dublin in full IoMSPCo livery which included fleet names for the first time. However, some one didn't quite get the black bands painted on the port funnel correctly.
