SAGA ROSE (ex SAGAFJORD) was originally built by Forges & Chantiers de la Mediterranee, La Seyne, France in 1965 for Norwegian America Line to operate the Oslo to New York service. She was sold to Cunard in 1980. She was chartered to Transocean Tours and renamed GRIPSHOLM. However, she suffered fire damage and was withdrawn.
