CELEBRITY CENTURY was built as the CENTURY for Celebrity Cruises then part of the Chandris Group in 1995. In 1997 Celebrity Cruises became part of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, Century was the first of three ships built by Jos. L. Meyer of Germany. She was rebuilt in 2005 in which three decks of balcony cabins were added raising her tonnage from 70,606grt to 72,458grt. In February 2008 she was renamed CELEBRITY CENTURY.
