The damaged SVITZER WATERSTON was towed into the Mersey for repairs on July 23, 2008. She had been damaged in a grounding incident at Milford Haven on July 02, 2008. She is one of the new vessels being introduced at Milford Haven to handle the increased LPG tanker traffic. Local press reports suggest that the new vessel had will cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to repair.
