Wendy Ann Delivers MY Da Vagabund to Ramsey Shipyard

Photographs © Jenny Williamson 2009

Laxey Towing Company's tug WENDY ANN delivered the motor yacht DA VAGABUND to Ramsey Shipyard on Monday March 02, 2009. The yacht joined the tug SEA TROJAN on the slipway. It is understood DA VAGABUND was believed laid up at Whitehaven for some time and close inspection of the yacht reveals her to be somewhat rough. The yacht does not carry an actual name on the hull though at the stern what looks to be a roundel in the colours of a French tricolour can be seen which is overlaid by a fleur de lys.

If anyone has any information on the origins of MY DA VAGBUND please get in touch.

After her delivery job WENDY ANN was photographed later on Monday afternoon crossing Laxey Bay on her return to Douglas (right).
