Isle of Man Steam Packet Fast Craft Movements at Douglas

MANANNAN and SNAEFELL are seen at Douglas harbour on the morning of May 28, 2009. A number of the photographs above being taken from the BEN-MY-CHREE arriving on her 02:15 sailing from Heysham.

MANANNAN is seen departing from Victoria Pier on her 07:30 sailing to Liverpool with 203 passengers. Also seen in some of the photographs is the mine hunter HMS RAMSEY which was on courtesy visit.

After MANANNAN had cleared for Liverpool SNAEFELL moved round from to the linkspan in preparation for the 13:45 sailing to Dublin.

SNAEFELL departed with a rather light load of 60 passengers.

MANANNAN arrived on her 11:15 sailing from Liverpool at 13:58 shortly after the departure of SNAEFELL
