| Whilst BEN-MY-CHREE is a weekend visitor to Merseyside during the autumn and winter she is not usually seen at Twelve Quays on summer Saturdays. She is seen here inbound on Saturday June 18 on an 07:00 sailing from Douglas. She was heading to Cammell Laird for the first of two dry dockings to repair a bow thruster. At the same time over at Liverpool MANANNAN had arrived on her scheduled 07:30 sailing from Douglas and was loading for her return 11:15 sailing to Douglas. The BEN-MY-CHREE had not been scheduled to operate to make a night sailing to / from Heysham on June 18 / 19, the evening of June 18 having originally been scheduled for her Round the Island Cruise. The next sailing to Heysham will be late on Sunday Sunday evening returning at 03:00 on Monday Morninbg worked by MANANNAN. BEN-MY-CHREE returns to service with a 15:15 sailing from Birkenhead on on Monday June 20, 2011. |
