Seaborn Pride Makes it to Douglas - Just!

Photographs © Alex McCormac 2005

Carnival Corporation's Seabourn division SEABOURN PRIDE has been scheduled to call at Douglas on Saturday September 03, 2005. However, she had been detained at Waterford by the Department of the Marine after failing an inspection. She was released on Saturday and was thought to be heading direct to Derry, her next scheduled call having missed Dublin.

Manx Radio originally announced that she wouldn't be calling at Douglas, though the reason given for her delay in early bulletins was given as a missed tide! However, around 19:00 she called briefly at Douglas an observer said that equipment appeared to be craned aboard. She departed around 19:35.
