ARGYLL FLYER (172grt) seen off Gourock on the morning of August 13, 2011 and in the the early evening sunshine later that day.
Originally built as Banríon Chonamara (Queen of Connemara) by OCEA of France in 2001 for Aran Island Ferries. She was bought in 2011 by David MacBrayne for their new Argyll Ferries service between Dunoon and Gourock which commenced on June 30, 2011. ARGYLL flyer can carry 244 passengers and has a top speed of 19 knots.
