Pont L'Abbé Outbound For Roscoff

The PONT L'ABBÉ  was built at Aalborg Værft A/S in Denmark for DFDS as the DANA ANGLIA and entered service in 1978. During this period she appeared in the short lived shipping soap opera "Triangle".

In 2006 she was chartered to Brittany Ferries to replace the VAL DE LOIRE which had been sold to DFDS. She is expected to remain in Brittany Ferries service until the BRETAGNE 2 enters service in 2008.

She is seen here outbound from Plymouth bound for Roscoff on the morning of August 25, 2006.
