The opening of the new Lifeboat House in Wexford town took place at 14:30 on Sunday June 08, 2008. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Michael Booth whose family funded the D Class Lifeboat PHILIP ROBERT BOOTH and most of the money for the new boat house augmented by a local appeal which raised around €100,000.
