Fort Perch Rock at New Brighton fired a salute to HMS ILLUSTRIOUS as she arrived on the Mersey on October 22, for her "Fly Navy 100" event to commemorate 100 years of Royal Navy Aviation. HMS ILLUSTRIOUS is scheduled to berth at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal between October 22 and 27, 2009.
