Gerry and Saleen Move The Boa Barge

Just seconds after the JEWELL OF THE SEAS departed on July 28, 2006 Port of Cork tugs GERRY O'SULLIVAN and SALEEN appeared off deepwater quay and speedily removed the BOA BARGE which is used by the larger cruise ships calling at Cóbh this in addition to the removable landing stage which was left in place. When not required it it moored at buoys further up stream. These buoys once being used for mooring purposes until the new quayside berthing dolphins were completed in 2005.
