The SKYLINE BARGE acted as the Mersey Ferries Landing Stage from 2007 until November 07, 2010 when Mersey Ferries temporarily switched operations to the Liverpool Cruise Terminal from where they are expected to operate until November 2012. The SKYLINE BARGE is to be removed to facilitate dredging prior to the installation of a new Landing Stage for Mersey Ferries which is to be constructed by Balfour Beatty. The design of the new stage will be similar to that employed by Balfour Beatty for the Liverpool Cruise Terminal. |
