The above photographs show the last former Mersey Docks and Harbour Company "Camel" bring moved through Sandon and Huskisson Docks believed en-route to Canada Dock for breaking.

This Camel last saw service in 2008 as a temporary link span for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company at Prince's Landing Stage when the link-span pontoon was undergoing modifications . This Camel was one of two built by Fergusons in 1957. It is not clear which of the two (Camel #6 or #7) it is as it no longer carries any markings.
