 | At 11:00 on Saturday May 13, 2006 MERSEY MAMMOTH had arrived alongside Ravestein's Skyline Barge 15 with the new foot bridge. This was lifted into place during the day and can be seen in position at 20:00. The bridge is somewhat exposed and looks to be a "Bailey Bridge". On a damp miserable day the long trek from booking office and the walk down the bridge will be a great disincentive to use the ferry!. |
