In 2008 Fakta om Fartyg web site reported that PRINCESS ROYAL had been sold and was due to be renamed TRINITY and rebuilt in Amsterdam before crossing the Atlantic for cruising in the Caribbean, However a year or so on and she remains at Liverpool with ownership and management still being recorded as Silver Leisure / Bridgewater Leisure. One wonders if her ultimate fate will see her entering the adjacent Canada Graving Dock for scrapping, given that this location has been given over to ship recycling? |
