Smit Anambas Arrives at Belfast

The SMIT ANAMBAS, a semi submersible ocean-going barge, seen arriving at Belfast on 4 June. Towed by the Belgium tug FIGHTER and assisted by local tugs WILLOWGARTH and MICHAEL MCLOUGHLIN.

The SMIT ANAMBAS is delivering foundation components for the offshore Barrow Wind Farm Project, situated 7km south west of Walney Island in the Irish Sea, of which Belfast is the projects onshore base.
