Japanese Trawler SHOSHIN MARU NO 38 passes Cóbh inbound for Cork City Quays on Monday October 25, 2004

Later the same day SHOSHIN MARU NO 38 is seen at Penrose Quay, Cork City.

On the Morning of Wednesday October 26 SHOSHIN MARU No 38 sailed outward passing Cóbh. Viewed from the Holy Ground, she was one of the few vessels that day to leave the port into the face of a storm which caused widespread damage and flooding in the area.
