Nahlin Departs Merseyside On Board Condock V

CONDOCK V arrived via Langton lock on July 26, 2005 locking just before 0730, pictured passing stern first through between Canada to Huskisson. NAHLIN was moved by Adsteam Tug BRAMLEY MOORE  from her West Sandon dock berth to South West 1 Huskisson to position inside the now semi submerged CONDOCK V. Safely in position by mid afternoon the mother vessel, various pictures. CONDOCK V was pumping ballast into the early evening prior to finally securing on board. Both vessels were expected to depart on the afternoon tide of July 27. subject to final securing.

The first six photographs by Philip Parker are close up views of NAHLIN on board CONDOCK V as she passes through the Liverpool Dock system en route to Langton Lock prior departure on July 27, bound for Hamburg, Germany. The historic vessel has been bought by German interests. One can see just how tight fit the NAHLIN proved to be with the stern door still partly open. The Last four photographs are by Ian Collard and show the departure from the Wirral shore.
