The Isle of Man Steam Packet Offices, East Quay, Ramsey.
December 29, 2005
Through the flaking paint the company name can just still be seen on the quayside elevation of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company offices at East Quay, Ramsey. It is from this office recently occupied by an electrical contractors that passengers boarding the ill-fated ELLAN VANNIN would have obtained their tickets. The ship sailing from the nearby quayside. A small memorial erected in 1999 commemorates the event.
