Maybe we will see something "new" in the annals of the branch? | October 15, 2009 A Programme of Shorts by Branch Members This is the chance for members to bring along a few slides and give a short talk. The results in recent years have been outstanding and we hope that this will be a regular feature. |

This is a must for freighter and coaster enthusiasts. | December 10, 2009 Ships of the Mersey 2009 Ian Collard Another selection of recent visitors to the river captured by Ian - especially on the cruise terminal. The quality of Ian's photographs is impeccable and they seem to always turn out whatever the weather conditions and time of day as we saw last year. |

We think that everyone who attends will know may of the vessels depicted | February 18, 2010 Slides from the WSPL Jim Mc Faul A second visit from Jim who is bringing slides from his library to make up a show. Based on last year's epic, this is a must for nostalgia. |
| March 18, 2010 Aircraft Carriers Richard Osborne This is the first visit to the branch by the WSS Chairman. This is also an abbreviated title of the programme which deals with the development of the vessels and their 'equipment'. | April 15, 2010 Jadrolinija Jimmy Poole Another new speaker for our branch. Jimmy, the WSS Secretary , is a specialist on ferries. This programme is on the history of the Yugoslav national shipping company and its many ferries. |
| May 20, 2010 Manchester Branch AGM + Supporting Programme by Bert Novelli After the business of the AGM Bert will project a selection of his slides and digital images. | June 17, 2010 From Russia With Ships Bernard McCall This is Bernard's first visit to the branch to give a talk, although in years gone by he did attend as a member. He is going to take us from St. Petersburg to Moscow by river and canal. Bernard has photographed many vessels and the results are well worth watching. |
