The Trwyn-Du Lighthouse on the
south east corner of the island of Anglesey is characterised by its
black and white paint scheme and prominent warning "No Passage
Landward" painted on the 96ft high tower. The light was established by
Trinity House in 1838. Automated in 1922 and converted to solar power
