Overlooking Helvic Harbour in Ring, County Waterford stands the monument commemorating the landing of American Fenians on board the brigantine ERIN'S HOPE.

The landing was intended to support the abortive 1867 Rising.

The monument was unveiled in 1955 by Cathleen Clarke wife of  Tom Clarke one of the executed veterans of the Easter Rising. A full account of the landing can be found on the Dungarvan Museum web site.
