A Hole In Two - SuperSeaCat Two

Photographs © John H. Luxton 2005

On Thursday June 16, SUPERSEACAT TWO damaged herself when departing from Prince's Landing Stage on the 10:30 sailing to Douglas. The departure was aborted and she returned to the stage. She remained at the stage until shortly before 18:00 when she came off and headed across to the wet basin at Birkenhead which she entered after the departure of LOUGH FISHER.

As can be seen from the photographs her upper hull appears to have been punctured starboard side aft. A neatly punched hole which appears to be around 3ft x 1ft can be seen just below the vents.
