The anniversary of the Princess Victoria disaster was marked by a community service in Donaghadee Co Down on 31st January.
Over 300 people braved the icy weather to commerate the event and watch the Mayor of Ards unveil a memorial plaque.
A restored 1950's ambulance was brought to the harbour and sat alongside the lifeboat during the service.
After the service, the lifeboat was launched and a wreath was laid at the site of the wreck, 5 miles off the Co Down Coast. |
